Package

We marked all Carbon Steel Threaded Fittings with Grade, Lot No, Size, Standard and Pressure. Our workers sleeved ASTM A105 Half Coupling into plastic bag individually, put all couplings into cartons and wooden cases, and bundled wooden cases with nylon rope.

Difference from Full Coupling

Full Coupling: Both ends have the same connection (threaded or socket welded) and are primarily used to connect two straight sections of piping, or to extend piping.

Half Coupling: Only one end has a connection, the other end is flat and is used to weld to a main line or equipment wall to create a branch or connection point.

What is the difference between a coupling and a union?

The main difference between a coupling and a union lies in their connection and disconnection features.
