A stainless steel eccentric reducer is a pipe fitting designed to join two pipes of different diameters, with the centerlines of each end offset from one another. This offset, known as the eccentricity, means one side of the fitting is straight while the other tapers at an angle. Unlike concentric reducers, which are symmetrical, the eccentric design helps control fluid flow, reduce turbulence, and prevent the accumulation of gas or air pockets in piping systems. It is commonly used where maintaining a consistent bottom or top pipe level is important.

S: Wall thickness
D: Outside diameter of the larger end
d: Outside diameter of the small end
H: End to end dimension
Features of Stainless Steel Eccentric Reducers
High Corrosion Resistance: Made from stainless steel, it effectively resists corrosion from various media such as acids, alkalis, and salts, making it particularly suitable for industries like chemicals, food processing, and pharmaceuticals.
Easy Installation: Typically connected to pipes via welding, it offers simple installation and reliable connections.
Compact structure: The eccentric design provides advantages in pipeline systems with limited space.
Fluid control: Eccentric reducers can help adjust the flow direction of fluids within pipelines, reduce turbulence, and ensure smooth fluid passage.

Surface Treatment
- Mechanical Polishing
A widely used method that smooths and brightens the stainless steel surface by grinding and polishing it with sanding belts, polishing wheels, and similar tools.
- Acid Washing and Passivation
A chemical process that removes iron particles and oxide scale through acid washing. This is followed by passivation, which forms a dense, protective film on the surface to improve corrosion resistance.
- Electrolytic Polishing
An electrochemical technique where stainless steel serves as the anode and is polished in an electrolyte solution, resulting in a smooth, reflective finish.
- Sandblasting
A process where fine abrasive materials—such as glass beads or aluminum oxide—are blasted at high speed onto the stainless steel surface to produce a consistent matte or textured appearance.
