Sch 160 Seamless Pipe Shipped to Manila Philippines

Philippines Manila Client bought “Carbon Steel ASTM A106 Grade B 4 inch Sch 160 Seamless Steel Pipe 20 FT length” from us in September 2021. We delivered them to Guangzhou warehouse in very short time because our large stock for these special pipe thickness.

The pipe Schedule describes the pipe wall thickness. In same size, the thickness in mm will be larger while pipe schedule number increases. It just affect the inside diameter only. Usually The double Extra Strong (XXS) wall is thicker than SCH 160 from NPS 1/2 to NPS 6, but SCH 160 is thicker than the XXS wall from NPS 8 to NPS 12.

From above chart we can see this steel pipe size in mm are 114.3 x 13.5mm. According to the standard of ASME B36.10M, the tolerance of outside diameter is ±1.0mm (113.3 ~ 115.3mm) and thickness tolerance is ±12.5% ( 11.82 ~15.19mm). You can refer to below pictures and see they are qualified.

Carbon steel pipes are usually done with blasting, painting and marking before packing. And then packed in bundle if the pipes diameter are not larger, unless they will be in loose.
