Steel pipe bend is very similar with elbows. They have same diameter range, wall thickness and end form. What’s the difference between them? It’s the radius. Steel pipe elbow has long radius (R=1.5D) and short radius ( R=1D) types, while bend radius is larger, such as 3D, 4D, 5D, 6D, 7D, 8D, 9D and 10D.
