How Many Types of Threaded Pipe Elbow?

90 Degree Elbow & 45 Degree Elbow

90 Degree Threaded Elbow

There are two types of 90 degree elbow that long radius ( LR) and short radius ( SR).  It change the oil and gas flow direction by 90 angle.

45 Degree Threaded Elbow

While 45 degree elbow have the long radius only. And same function as above, the difference is change the flow direction by 45 degree.

NPT Elbow Fitting

NPT stands for National Pipe Tapered threads, also known as ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 pipe threads. It is a U.S. standard for measuring tapered threads on threaded pipe or elbow fittings.

BSP Elbow Fitting
